Before your session we’ll discuss what you want, any areas you want to work on and I’ll answer any questions you might have. Personally I like to use a mixture of all three techniques during my treatments, but we can focus on one if you prefer. No massage is the same because no body is the same!
A foreword on consent
Consent is incredibly important to me and to my work. Before we start our session, we’ll discuss what you are and aren’t comfortable with and I’ll do regular check-ins throughout our time together. If there is anything I am doing at any point that you don’t feel comfortable with, please tell me. Even if it’s something you thought you’d like but, in reality, you don’t. Consent is a continuous agreement (not a one-time decision) and it can be withdrawn at any time. This is your time and your body, you get to control what happens to both.
Accessibility
One of my main aims is to make massage available to everyone. So here are some ideas of how we can better meet your needs - just add a note in an email. Also, if there is anything you think I can add to the list, please get in touch!

My massage table is portable, so if you have the space available (see table dimensions) then I can come to you! In the future, I want to get trained in chair massage to offer an alternative surface.

There’s nothing worse than being rushed! Let me know if you want more time on either side of the treatment so you don’t have to worry about being late or spoiling that post-treatment bliss.

Wear what you feel comfortable in, you can stay partially clothed or nothing if you prefer. Binders do restrict breathing and muscle movement, so I don’t recommend getting a treatment over one, but we can have a chat about it before your session.

Tell me what you’re listening to and we can have that playing in the background. Or if you just want some peace and quiet, that’s fine too - there’s no pressure to talk.

I have had a booster vaccination earlier this year (due for another), I wear a mask (KN95) on public transport and in supermarkets, and take other precautions when around large crowds/indoors. If you would like me to do a test the day of/48hours before your treatment, just let me know prior to your appointment. Additionally, if you would like to wear a mask or for me to wear one, again just let me know beforehand.

Please feel free to bring fidget/stim toys with you - there are no expectations for you to be stock still on the table!
Swedish Massage
£45 (1hr)
Using oil and direct skin contact. Can be relaxing or invigorating, depending on what you like! Usually a gentler pressure than deep tissue.
Trigger Point Massage (with Stretch Therapy)
£50 (1hr)
Uses direct pressure to release any knots or trigger points. This style is usually more active and can involve manual stretching of the surrounding area to help release the muscles fibres.
Deep tissue
£50 (1hr)
Deeper pressure, using crossfibre and longitudinal strokes. Similar to Swedish but firmer. Think forearms, fists and knuckles. Note - firmer doesn’t always equal better! It doesn’t have to hurt to work.
COMING SOON…
Done over clothes and in an upright position, this is a great option for those that don’t have much time or don’t want to get undressed.
Chair massage
Indian Head massage
Focussing just on the head, neck and shoulders, this can be a wonderful way to relax and unwind.
